Welfare of Physically Handicapped
Programmes are being put into practice for the teaching, guidance and treatment of four classes of handicapped people, namely, the blind, the deaf, the orthopedically handicapped and mentally retarded. The Union Ministry of Social Welfare rewards scholarship to blind, deaf and orthopedically handicapped students for common teaching and for technological and proficient training.
