Devoted to goddess Lakshmi, Birla Mandir is located on top of the Arera Hills. This holy place orders a panoramic sight of the portrait ideal city. Apart from Lakshmi and her husband Vishnu, this place of worship also has a stunning statue of Lord Shiva, with his wife Parvathi. The tranquil ambiance of this glorious shrine gives sacred comfort to the pilgrims. Birla Mandir also has a museum which houses an affluent compilation of sculptures dating 12th century.

Gohar Mahal

The magnificent monument built by Begum Qudisiya is situated near Upper Lake. Gohar Mahal Palace is a beautiful fusion of the local Hindu and Islamic architecture. The sprawling palace built in 1820 is still intact and draws plenty of visitors.

Bharat Bhavan in Bhopal is a multi-arts complex and museum is situated at Shamla Hills and build and contrived under the expert administration of the renowned architect, Charles Correa.
